Announcing the Fun Learning Chinese Blog!

September 6, 2015 by Laura Blodgett Leave a Comment

As of today, the Fun Learning Chinese blog is official. I am quite happy to have a specific place to write all my (previously titled) I’m Learning Chinese posts, and I think it will make it easier to expand on the subject this way. Many thanks to two of my daughters. Heidi Breton, co-owner of Startify, provided incredible technical work,  support, and guidance. Her younger sister, Natalie Blodgett, is the blossoming graphic arts major at Boise State University who designed my new logo. I think if I was any happier with all of it, I would burst!

I have entered the first newest post, never before posted here, on that site today. 🙂 It is about How to Keep a Secret in Chinese. In case you are wondering, I will not be regularly posting links here, on Daily Improvisations, to the Chinese blog, so if you are interested in those stories and adventures, go over to that website and subscribe to get email notifications. The plan is to soon be setting it up to subscribe to a newsletter, probably of a monthly nature.

Soon, I will be doing a biographical post about my tutor, who was raised in Taiwan. She has been very encouraging and fun to learn from the last few years. We laugh so much at my lessons, whether in person or on Skype. Sometimes, we even finish the same sentence in Chinese together, like cross-cultural twins. 🙂 And did I mention she makes yummy dumplings?

That’s all for now. Remember, there’s no time like the present to begin learning Chinese –
