Garden cart tires do not last forever. I know, people are always complaining that “things don’t hold up the way they used to,” but I am sure I got my money’s worth out of these tires. They just couldn’t take it anymore. Five years hauling loads and sitting out in the weather. It would have made a good commercial. Even the guy at the tire shop seemed impressed with how worn and shredded they were.
I would like to say I hung onto them for sentimental reasons or because I was being frugal. The truth is, I just didn’t know how to change them. Now I do know how, but I’m still not sure I can do it by myself or remember how to do it next time. I should probably print out this blog that I wrote for D&B Supply about how my engineer helped me put on new garden cart tires, laminate it, and hang it in the yard tool shed.
