Reasons to Consider Bare Foot Gardening

If you have ever longed to take off your shoes and run bare footed through the garden, there’s a good reason. It’s fun and comfortable. It may take a few weeks to get your feet and legs back into shape for more regular participation in this childhood joy, but along the way you’ll discover that it can have lots of benefits for an adult, too.

I talk about why being barefoot in the garden is worth thinking about, and how to begin enjoying it, in my guest post on the D&B Blog today.

Feet:  springboards and shock absorbers, all at the same time.

Yay for bare feet!! You make me proud by advocating one of my favorite things to do during warmer months. I love it, love it. I never knew it was so “healthy” for me to go barefoot until you began all your research on the subject. Now I know why it makes me feel “free.” 😀
