It all started when we went to live in Taiwan for a while. Blogging as a internet phenomena was still fairly new, but I could see right away that it was the perfect way to relate our adventures there. And adventures we surely had, plus I’ve been able to travel back there twice with my husband. You can read about it in the category Life in Taipei.
Then, when we got back to Idaho, I had to decide if I was going to keep writing. After all, writing had always been a dream of mine. But I obviously needed new subject matter. When my family all encouraged me, we brainstormed and dailyimprovisations.com was born.
While living in Taipei, we had the opportunity to begin learning the Chinese language. I wanted to continue that. I wanted to write about so many things. And soon I decided it made sense to spin off into 5 blogs:
I kept Daily Improvisations as my homestead blog, with a bit of travel adventure occasionally.
I started Fun Learning Chinese, which my tutor and I have a lot of fun with.
I transferred all of my fitness related posts to Fun Fitness After 50, which is for people of any age who want to be fit after *an age* when many people assume they must give into deterioration. It is good to develop a good mindset early on. Associated with this blog is my book Why Does Grandma Run Barefoot?, because if Grandma does it, what is your excuse!? ????
The Happy Libertarian and Bible News Press are currently being merged into The Happy Homeschool. The Process is underway, but will take a while. THH does already have a FB page. It is going to be a very good change.
I don’t think I will ever just retire. Life is to be lived and shared. I hope my blogs encourage you in life as well.
