When You Are a Helpless Female and You Need a Chicken Pen in a Hurry – Part 3

attaching the air compressor hose to the staple gun while on a ladder required some practice

It was a small air compressor, but it had a big snort.  That is, every time I tried to attach the air compressor hose to the staple gun, it blasted a sonorous snort at me in protest.  Eventually, I would get the hose attached to the staple gun, then lead the air compressor around wherever I wanted to.  I’m thinking it is really like a lion and never totally tame.  It simply let me lead it around because it found the exercise diverting for a while.  I will never completely trust it, and I certainly won’t leave it attached to the staple gun unattended.  But as long as it lets me staple a few staples now and then to finish building the PVC pipe chicken pen, all will be well.  I hope it doesn’t eat chickens, though.
